Default Great article on Resistance for ps3 supports 1080p/7.1 lossless!

They also mention the game is over 20gb's and could not have been done on DVD or HDDVD for that matter.

http://ps3.ign.com/articles/729/729630p1.html

check it out!

awesome!

But it doenst say if it is 7.1 lossless ingame though. But it doesnt deny it either

All I can do is hope that 7.1 lossless is ingame. And hope that MGS4 will also have 7.1 lossless ingame.

That is AWESOME. Do you think thats TRUE 1080p or maybe they meant support it by saying it can upconvert to it(though that would be obvious)?

Regarding the audio, I currently have a 7.1 Creative Inspire System, but I don't know if it's good enough for PS3. Any recommendations on a new speaker system that will FULLY enjoy the 7.1 HD lossless audio?

Thanks!

7.1 HD requires a compatible surround amp. I'll be playing in 5.1

1080p? I REALLY hope this game supports that resolution, simply because some top bod at MS recently announced that he didn't expect any PS3 games to support 1080p before the end of 2007 - so if a launch game supports it, then I look forward to seeing him eat humble pie.

Andre Vrignaud is the jokers name.

Agreed. That would be great to put him in his place.
