Actually reminds me of the 70's when a lot of the music groups were playing Jazz.

Alex Skolnick from Testament is a very accomplished Jazz musician and has released several albums with his Trio.

Awesome!

I wouldn't call it "smooth jazz" though, rather easy listening is more like it. Still it sounds pretty damn refreshing.
