BURBANK, CA (May 4, 2016) - Warner Bros. Home Entertainment (WBHE) is set to release one of television's most compelling, action-packed, crime dramas, Person of Interest: The Complete Fifth and Final Season on Blu-ray and DVD. Available July 19, 2016, the final season will include all 13 Season Five episodes plus the "Finale for the Fans" featurette, the show's 2015 Comic-Con Panel and more bonus content. Season Five finds the team of covert crime fighters faced with the potential demise of The Machine as its rival, Samaritan, begins to take control. The release will retail for $39.99 SRP for the standard DVD edition and $44.98 SRP for the Blu-ray edition. Person of Interest: The Complete Series is also available on Blu-ray and DVD on July 19, 2016, with SRPs of $169.99/$129.99.

I'm going to put the complete series on my Christmas list. Glad I held off.

Really glad it's out this soon too. I'll still be buying digital versions of the episodes to rewatch until then but having a complete set on my shelf in a couple months is something to look forward to.

During interviews Michael Emerson who plays Finch said season 6 was possible if someone were to pick up the show. I understand not wanting to spoil the ending but I'm guessing the season 5/series finale is a TRUE series finale since the season 5 and complete series set is coming out so soon after the season 5/series finale

I already own season 1-4 on Blu-ray so unless the complete series set has some exclusives (which I doubt) I'm just going to get the season 5 set.

This was hands down the greatest show on network TV and it's sad to see such an amazing show leave TV

I have seen an episode here and there (mostly for Amy Acker, yum) and unless the online consensus is that the finale is a turd that ruins everything I will get the complete series once it gets to a good price. Chuck and Fringe started out at ridiculous amounts and later dropped to $50 during sales.

Wonder when the preorder will be up on Amazon same with iZombie s1-2 blu's as they also are released in july. So it can't be long now for preorders to go up for them

Since Person of Interest is a wide release and not a MOD it's preorders should be up sooner than iZombie's Blu-ray preorders

This listing on Best Buy's website, it's most likely the fifth season mislabeled and not the complete series mispriced, right?

it's nothing but a case to hold all 5 season boxsets according to my sources

That's pretty common practice for Warner. Same thing they did with Fringe, Chuck, Nikita, etc.

Can't wait for Season 5. I'm holding out for Blu-ray now. No commercials, no station logo, no popup for 2 Broke Girls or some BS like that. Should be nice.

Probably. Though it might be worth pre-ordering just in case, as I think those are cancelable at any time.

I know Wal-Mart once had Weeds: The Complete Collection listed at an insanely low pre-order price, and they shipped that.

And on August 8th 2013 I saw that BB had an upcoming TV show on DVD with a wrong release date of 1999 and a price of $2.49 (way under msrp). It was unavailable to order, but someone else kept checking back and got it at a time when the order button was up. They shipped that to him for that price.

The last two orders I placed on BestBuy.com, nothing happened when I went to cancel them. Even a preorder wouldn't cancel weeks in advance. Since it was an in-store pickup, I told them I didn't want it, rather than just wait for the pickup time to expire.

The complete series isn't really worth it for me, I have seasons 1-4 on Blu-ray already. Can't wait to pick up season 5 and watch all 103 (sadly that all the episodes we're getting) episodes of this wonderful show
