Movies You Love, That Will Most Likely Never Get a Blu-ray Release - Blu-ray Forum

Let's face it...there's an awful lot of films out there, and we all know that there's a better chance of getting 'struck by lightning' or 'winning the lottery,' than there is of getting all our favorites on Blu. That said, what are some of your favorites that you honestly don't feel will ever make it onto the format (but if they did, you'd buy them in a heartbeat!)? Please refrain from posting any and every obscure title you can come up with, and limit your responses to films you would actually purchase.

Here's a few of mine:

Avenging Force
Battle Creek Brawl
The Blood of Heroes
Catch Me If You Can (1989)
Cloak & Dagger (1984)

Shirley Valentine. Took forever to get it on DVD, and I can't see it ever being on Blue-ray.

not a movie, but I hope Twin Peaks (as well as the prequel film) will make a blu-ray appearance at some point. The DVDs of season 2 only came out a couple of years ago so I'm not holding my breath.

I really enjoyed Late Lastnight and i highly doubt that will ever be in Blu. and theres also a bunch of underground artist that have concert DVD's i would like to see in blu but i dont see that happening either, even though Tech N9ne got a blu coming out

I'm a fan of this movie too... I believe it did get a rather poor region 2 anamorphic DVD release, but due to UK censorship on some titles, it might be missing some footage from what I understand...this one is long overdue for proper treatment.
