Hmm.. Seems odd that they should price their new exclusives the same as the Entertainment Store 'Jack Reacher'. Perhaps they got wind of the fact people are willing to pay that much for a steelbook and thought they'd give it a go.

Think I might stick with the German steelbook unless this comes with the 3d as well.. Even then its too high.

woahzaaa! £27.99 although I would not mind paying that for a limited release + 3D, Iron Man 3 will have various releases, not sure if i should stick with the German release or go for this, my poor wallet

zavvi are charging £27.99 for all new releases. they are really taking the piss and we know who to blame if they stick with these prices - entertainement store

of course the usual idiots are gonna be coming into this thread soon telling us 'u dont have to buy it, no one is forcing you etc'

£27.99 is ridiculous for 1 steelbook. zavvi better lower their prices otherwise i wont be supporting them

Doubt all the newly announced titles will be £27.99.

Much more likely to be less when they are officially up for sale.

If it includes 3D...eh, maybe... but these prices for standalone 2D steelbooks are outrageous. No purchase at all if there's no 3D version.

You know, woahzaaa was my first thought......but then I remembered what I just paid for the first 2 steelbooks

I will pre-order this, along with my German pre-order. Once more information is released, I'll decided which I'll be keeping. I'm guessing Target will have a kick ass special features disc, which will make that version a MUST for me. IM Special Features rock!

Oh and I just remembered, I pre-ordered IM3 Walmart Exclusive for the Vudu bonuses and UV copy. I'll be selling the actual blu-ray from that though.

I know they can't release a Viva MetalBox anymore but I am praying for a Future Shop/Best Buy USA Steelbook. This is just too rich for my blood.

Twats. This is what 'market demand' and short 'worldwide' supply have created.

Personally I feel so many wish Play.com were still around. I know I do.

I'll probably reserve one assuming it's 3D included and the artworks brilliant but they're taking the pi*s tbh.

No steelbook is worth more than £20. I won't pay any more.

Even The Godfather trilogy was less that £27.99, and you got THREE films.

F*ck that! I'll just wait for the marvel phase two box set and buy it for £25 again from sainsburys! May not be a steelbook but it's a nice little package. And LESS than a steelbook for ONE movie.

Yeah I know what you mean, I'm most likely going to this, got a feeling this will have a good print run atleast if it's paramount as IM3 from amazon.de is released by Concorde?
