France Wild Life/Vie sauvage (Cédric Kahn)

Vie Sauvage Blu-ray

Cédric Kahn's latest film, Wild Life a.k.a. Vie sauvage, has received a preliminary release date: March 11, 2015. With Mathieu Kassovitz (La Haine), Céline Sallette, and David Gastou.

Quote:
Philippe Fournier, known as "Paco," decides not to take his 6- and 7-year old sons to their mother, who has been granted custody.
Okyesa and Tsali Fournier will spend their childhood and adolescence living a clandestine life with assumed identities. Attics, beach houses in the South of France, caravans, and communes become their homes, and they live in communion with their animals and nature. Hunted by the police and constantly searched for by their mother, they experience danger, fear, and deprivation, but also the solidarity of friends met along the way, and the joy of living outside the system, nomadic and free. The experience of being on the run for eleven years throughout France will forge their identity.
