Apparently the UK isn't getting the 3D version, so it's £28 for one disc. Ridiculous price. Zavvi are really taking the piss here. They'd better lower their prices.
Still, though, an August 12th release is way earlier than expected for TLM! That's good to know at least!

I have to think their pricing is because of everyone jumping on Entertainment Store's LE steelbooks at that price. Of course, the likes of Jack Reacher was a 500 steelbook print, not a 4000 print. If this print release is 4000 like Aladdin, then it shouldn't be any more than $17.99 IMO.

I'll be amazed if that's the final price, Zavvi always list at a higher price and usually reduce.

I guess people didn't care about the price. It's already sold out.

All pre-orders show as sold out before they are actually available to pre-order.

yeah, it will go live within a week I believe (think Aladdin was live in about 3 days from the listing going up)

Aparently this wasn't meant to go live yet along with Jungle Book and Iron Man 3. The price will drop when it goes live to pre order.

Like it's already been said the 3D release has been canned in the UK, only the US has it to date. Even if we were getting it this steelbook wouldn't include it just like Iron Man 3 won't include it.

They really need to sort that out over here, either offer a 3D disc redemption method (at cost for the disc obviously) or a discount on double dipping for the 3D and steel.

Its no wonder 3D is still so niche in UK

Tell me about it. I hate it when 3D copies arent included in steels, yet 9 times out of 10 every other country gets the 3D included.

Thats what really pissed me off about The Avengers last year.

The US set was like 5 discs AND a soundtrack... Disney UK really do suck.

I really hope Peter Pan gets the steelbook treatment as it got the 3rd highest votes on the HDN Disney Steelbook Poll.

Tis why I went with the US set. A helpful member on here managed to get me the Target release with the extra disc AND the metal pack

though my impatience, and preference of the UK steel artwork meant I double dipped (but for £12 brand new from HMV I cant really complain for a double dip)

I'd be surprised considering its already got a UK release (last year)

but you never know. If all the Disney Zavvi's sell out like they have been, we could end up with all the classics getting a steel
