Exceptional. A very fine layer of grain with great contrast and detail. Audio is very good for it's age and presented in DTS-HD MA 2.0.

No extras unfortunately.

Agreed. I was quite surprised at the quality, considering it was an Umbrella title I picked up for $8. I suspect it's the Criterion transfer as this disc is 1.78:1, as opposed to the U.K. edition's 1.85:1.

Thanks for the reply guys. I can't find this on K-Mart anymore. This and The Last Emperor are the ones I wanted to get, i just started these forums to confirm whether if they are based on Criterion's release.

How can I access the special features, there is no pop-up menu to access it.
