Just wondering what your favorite fighting game is?

I think the fighting styles, and overall graphics and whatnot is SC4, but I know a lot probably prefer SF4, especially since it's more recent.

Are you talking about Best Fighting Game for the PS3, because if you're not, there are a lot more games to choose from besides SF4 and SC4.

Best Fighting Game - X-Men Children of the Atom (although this is just partially due to the fact that I was really happy they finally made an X-Men fighting game)
Best Pseudo-Fighting Game - Guardian Heroes (best 6 player fighting game ever)

Tekken does not equal Soul Calibur with swords. Even though they're both Namco games, they have different development teams. Power Stone 2 - Dreamcast
Dead or Alive 2 - Dreamcast
Street Fighter III: Third Strike - Dreamcast
Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 - Dreamcast
SNK Vs Capcom 2 - Dreamcast
Project Justice - Dreamcast
Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution - PS2
Mortal Kombat 2 - SNES

I absolutely love fighting games, and so far, the PS3 has a great group of fighters. One of the biggest reasons I keep my Dreamcast in regular rotation is because it has a ton of arcade perfect ports - fighter and otherwise - since it was designed as the heart of SEGA's NAOMI arcade platform.

Tekken is king. A much more deeper and rewarding fighting experience.

Of the two choices in this pole, I'd take SFIV. Easily. More satisfying combat like Tekken. Not as deep but alot of fun. Soul Calibur IV is okay. The series really hasn't been good since the second game.

Darkstalkers (Vampire) and Guilty Gear series are my two favorite 2-D fighters. I need a VS. game between them, so I can finally have my dream match of Morrigan vs Dizzy

Dreamcast definetely had some good fighting games. Unfortunatly, the d-pad (and to some extent the analog stick) sucked.
