It is - this art was originally done as a limited edition alternative cover to Warner Archive's original MOD DVD release.
I knew an HD version of the series had been transferred from the original film, and, although the new masters were done ostensibly for DC Universe, I had hoped that Warner would put out a Blu-ray release. As part of the HD transfer process, Warner even found original film for the moral tags at the end of the episodes. These were on the DVD release, but only from fans' off-air video tape copies as they were not on the then-current SD masters. When Warner recently transferred the film, they also found outtakes too - it would be interesting to see if any of these make it to the new Blu-ray release. It's good to see that DC/Warner is still interested in putting out home media releases of their archive TV material, unlike Marvel/Disney... Having said that, we're still waiting on a DVD/Blu-ray release of the 1981 Shazam! series. Hopefully we'll get that one day too. |

I grew up watching this. Time to retire my DVD set.
It will be great to have this on BD. the original DVD set was only 3 discs-they must me maxing this out for quality at 4 discs on Blu. Good to hear. |

These days, I'd probably get a bigger charge from Isis or Electra Woman & Dyna Girl. But I have to admit, there's some Saturday morning nostalgia attached to this one.

I'm glad they got the guy who did probably the best post-Golden Age Cap run to do the cover art for the DVDs, and they re-used it for the Blus. |

Bought this (HD) a while back on my Apple TV. Same cover art as the Blu. Watched it in black and white in the 70s.
