Skyrim: Special Edition

Neogaf insider Shinobi602 has mentioned the possibility of Skyrim coming to PS4 and X1. Given that the game sold over 20 million and more importantly considering that the game has already been ported to Xbox One this doesn't surprise me.

Perhaps the best part is that PS players will finally be able to play the game at a respectable framerate.

I didn't find any info pertaining to that, but I did find the rumor. Also listed is Prey 2's re-reveal.

It was ported yes but not for release. It was meant as a learning experience for fallout 4.

Actually my PS3 version never crashed on me but it would do stupid things like my character would get stuck in between walls or rocks and I'd have to re start.

I would pick this up even though I already have my platinum on the PS3 version. Still one of my favorite games that I jump into every once in a while and go for a walk.

I posted on gaf earlier, as much as I love this game I won't be buying it they release it. There is just too much coming out, plus I bought Skyrim on PC and haven't touched it yet where I can play with mods etc.

The ONE thing I hope Bethesda does with this re master is fix the loading screens! I'm completely spoiled by The Witcher 3's instant loading when going in and out of buildings, caves, etc. I don't know if I can sit through those endless loading screens anymore.

I'll keep an open mind, though I feel the same way with all of the new games on the way. Having spent 100's of hours in Skyrim, it would have to add a lot of new stuff beyond graphics, like including the DLC which I haven't played. I'd consider it for $20 if it ever dropped to that price.

I played Skyrim but its not a game I ever want to revisit. I didnt even finish all the DLC. I have no interest in getting lost in that world again. Come back to me when you have something new to show

Meh. Skyrim was awesome when I first played it and sunk in a ton of time but I want a new ES game.

I put a ton of hours into this game on the 360 and would start all over again with a version on the X1, especially if they make mods available like they've done for Fallout 4. Count me in... until the next ES game comes out.

As much as I enjoyed Skyrim, like many on this page am uncertain if I want to sink many hours into the game, but I will see.

If it's a lazy port and costs $60 I will probably pass.

We are likely a few years off from ES6, so they doing this is a nice way to tide people over.

Same here. Loved this game very much when it first came out. Sunk so much time into it and I don't know if I can really do it again. Maybe, maybe not. I'll make my decision IF this rumor is true.
