Hey everyone, I want to know what you guys think about my PS4 collection of games so far from both retail and digital. We are closing in fast on the one year anniversary so far and I am shocked to have this many games so early on in the generation, so I will start things off and you guys can post your collections as well and get in on the fun.

Tbh, 'rating' isn't objective mainly. Its subjective.

You seem to have a good mix of games but you really should grab The Last of Us unless you have the PS3 edition + DLC and don't fancy double dipping. I have it on PS3 but didn't buy the Left Behind DLC and with the pre-order price being £30 I justified double.dipping as I also gave my little brother the game to play.

I hope you're running a 2TB HDD lol. Looks like you would struggle to hold all those downloadable games and deleting/re-downloading may put you on the wrong side of your ISP download cap.

I know but I like to see what other people think of my collection. I have Last of Us on digital and the DLC is great with it.

LOL, it looks like you have EVERY game for the PS4, so kinda hard to give a rating when you pretty much purchased everything out there

I wish I had every game, I am missing quite a few but I am happy with that I have so far.

It's a bit strange to ask for opinions on your collection this early in the console cycle. There just aren't enough games out there right now to really give a collection any sort of defining traits.

It's not surprising to have so many games this early; this is typical for new consoles, as most owners try to justify buying in early instead of waiting for a price drop/redesign/more software.

If this generation of consoles indicates anything, it shows the rise of digital creeping across the gaming landscape. The transformation is nearly total on PC, where you have to go out of your way to order physical copies of games (that often have to be activated online in any case). We're starting to head in that direction with console, though at a much slower rate.

On a personal level, I'm "satisfied" with my PS4, though even as an omnivorous gamer who is willing to play most anything that isn't a sports simulation, there are very few retail releases compared to past generations. The boom of indie games has managed to mostly fill that void for me, however; many of the PS4 indies are of very high quality, and it's a nice change from having to sift through mountains of dross to find the gems on Steam.

and Grim.. Thats gotta be way over 500Gigs. Did you swap HDs?? or do you just uninstall and reinstall? and Bound by Flame is one of the worst games i have ever played in my life.

Wow, nice collections. I don't think I have even a quarter of the games you guys have. Though I still have four games on Pre-order. I don't think I'm going to buy or order anymore games until I'm done with The Witcher 3. And I'm not even going to start Witcher until I've had my fill of Dying Light. So I'll be good for quite a while.

I have ... The Last of Us and Need For speed. And all the PS+ games.

I already sold all my other games that I already beat and finished (AC4, Killzone, inFamous, BF4)

I won't be doing the same mistake i've done with every other consoles which is to hold onto games that I have no intention of ever playing again. The only one's I will keep are the exclusive's that I could play again. (TLOU , Uncharted, etc)

I hear that. It's hard habit to break though, especially when I less frequently beat my games 100% right after receiving them any more. Thief and Tomb Raider: Definitive were the first games I ever sold. When I look back at the PS3 collection, I have, after long delays, only replayed UC1, UC2, Dead Space the first, InFamous the first, Fallout 3, Bioshock the first and Just Cause 2, but I still own every game I ever bought for the system. Definitely a waste...of money and space. At the same time, I hang onto games like Injustice: Gods Among us, that I never really liked and did not finish, because I think I might go back to it some day, even though I probably won't. I do think it's nice to be able to lend my games out. That's probably the best reason to hang onto them.
