Nice! Guilty Pleasure movie for sure. I'm not sure I needed a 4k of this but If the price isn't significantly different I'll be down for a copy.

It's not as bad as some people make it out to be. I actually liked it. Is it cheesy? Sure it is, but everyone loves a good slice of American cheese every now and then.

I saw this theatrically with two of my older sisters. I was 10, and liked every movie I saw. I hated it. I watched part of it a few years ago and I had to abandon ship. I noticed on Wikipedia it is considered by some to be the worst sequel ever made.

If you are curious about this movie, and subscribe to Epix, Prime Video, or Paramount +, it's currently available. I would recommend ingesting lots of alcohol - or something stronger - first.

I’ve never seen this but I’ll always remember this brilliant line from Leonard Maltin’s review: “Billed, with amazing accuracy, as a musical trip through Hell.”

Darn - shame it's with Kino.
And equally a shame that this is happening with the Paramount 4K release of Saturday Night Fever being so poor! Staying Alive could end up with a better release!

I saw this when it was released with my older brother and his friend. I think it was right before I started my sophomore year of high school. I was absolutely floored by how gorgeous Cynthia Rhodes was. At the time I had never seen Saturday Night Fever and had no idea that this was a sequel to that film. I have always liked this movie and don't give a toss what idiot critics think. I will gladly add this this to my collection.

The first thing I remember about this movie is a scene in this that should have been touching, but is now unintentionally funny: Travolta looks at something in the distance, chuckles to himself, then walks away. The camera focuses out on a building: It's the disco from Saturday Night Fever, converted into a gay nightclub.

Pauline Kael had something like "If it hadn't been for the Bee Gees' 'Staying Alive' at the end of the movie, I don't think the audience would have had the strength to crawl out of the theater."

Shame why? They have stepped up their game in the last few years and produce some great work.

I want Look Who's Talking on uhd (there's already a 4k streaming version but without hdr). The trailer for this looks fairly fun, though.
