Will british movies play on American ps3's? Like if I buy these movies that are in pounds...they will play right? Just wanna double check real quick before I buy

Pounds don't really have anything to do with it. It depends on how they are coded (A, B, C). Here's a link that might help you on which movies will play here from there.

no they will not play..since they are in pounds they are too heavy and too hard on the disc drive

Most will play fine. Just check this website before you buy. Towards the bottom of the page, it lists all the international releases and whether or not they play in regular US players.

I bought "Next" and "The Islands" from the UK and they play perfectly on my Sony S300 here in the USA.

I'm planning to buy "Cinderella Man", "Bruce Almighty" and "Face/Off" next.
