I turned 14 in 94, don't remember seeing a lot of movies then but looking back I do enjoy these movies (or have a good memory of them) released in 1994
The Lion King
Pulp Fiction
Blue Chips (I remember seeing this one with my cousin in theaters, Shaq was a big deal back then)
Renaissance Man (I think this movie is underrated, great film)
Wyatt Earp (I remember my Mom and Me going to see this that summer)
Forrest Gump (Great Film and Wonderful Soundtrack)
Wes Craven's New Nightmare (Went with my uncle and best friend to see it)

We also lost some great actors that year
Ceaser Romero
John Candy
Peter Cushing
Jessica Tandy
Terrence Young (The BEST Bond Director)
Burt Lancaster
Raul Julia

But it was also the year that gave us Jessica Alba (debut in a movie)
Then

Now

Joking right?

1994 was a pretty bad year.

Looking at the films above, Pulp Fiction and Ed Wood are classics and I love these two. Leon and Interview with the Vampire were good too.

The rest? Couldnt care less.

Outstanding
Pulp Fiction
The Shawshank Redemption
Leon: The Professional
Three Colors
Chungking Express
The Ref
Quiz Show (probably the best US film of the year)

Very Good
Interview with the Vampire
True Lies
Clerks
The Hudsucker Proxy
Ed Wood

Not great but good if taken on their own terms
Speed
Clear and Present Danger
Ace Ventura Pet Detective
Stargate
Renaissance Man
Wolf (this could have been pretty awesome and it came close but...)

Need to see (or see again)
Death and the Maiden
Bullets Over Broadway
The Client
Timecop

Certainly not a GOAT class but overall not too shabby

HUGE year for quality films..compared to the slop and stupidity of remakes or whatever Hollywood defines itself as lately.

You have no sense of film taste even with your praise to Dune (a film i despise so much).

I've only bothered to buy four of these on Blu-ray so far (The Shawshank Redemption, Pulp Fiction, and the Three Colors films), but this list brings back a lot of college memories.
