This is a new show starting on Fox tonight, http://www.utopiatv.com

Any thoughts or is anyone else looking forward to seeing how this turns out? I like the fact that there are no rules, no prize to win, and no production. They also have live stream on their site. Not sure if this will turn out to be a hit or a flop but I am looking forward to seeing this.

Whats your thoughts and or discussion on this?

I just caught the introductions. Two that stood out. A pastor and a women who had to say goodbye to her boyfriend, her other boyfriend and her girlfriend.

I'm currently watching it right now. I've been pretty excited for it. I love Survivor and The Real World, and this feels like a mix between the two.

The ratings were not too good though. I'm wonder how long it will end up lasting.

Last night's Utopia got a 0.9 rating and only 2.5 million viewers. Fox put a ton of faith in this show by devoting 2 hours of their prime time schedule and reportedly spending $50 million on the show, but it's looking like a massive failure that might not even last until most of their shows premiere.

I can't imagine it will go anywhere soon. It is already airing on Fridays anyways. They will have holes in their schedules with nothing else to fill it in with. I think it will last at least through 2014.

The show is just not great at all, I'll give it a few more episodes before I stop watching it but with no prize, no real games or competitions, and just the overall cast seems to have no points to connect with I see this show as a major letdown.

However I do like the concept of the show but I think they executed it wrong, it was neat to see them get the electricity but it seems it will be a long time before anything else good happens.
