Default Canadian Halloween Editions

Any info regarding these? They have a thin cardboard insert, in the front, with a frame of cobwebs, surrounding the movie artwork in the center. I bought two of these so far, and these editions have credit card glue, to hold the insert to the case. The hot glue when applied, causes the clear plastic of the case to melt, so I don't know why they think this is a good idea.

The first one I bought (The Exorcist Extended Director's Cut) had a great deal of glue that was used, about 3 inches in length, and I needed to replace the case because of it.
The second (Poltergeist) only had a small round dab, which still causes the plastic to melt but I didn't replace it.

Yeah, you'll have to buy a replacement case if you want the cover under the cardboard insert. I had this with one of the Terminator releases and the MGM 100th Anniversary re-release of Annie Hall.

Unfortunately, it's the only way to get these Blu-ray titles in-store. I have plenty of extra cases (Eco cases) to place them in. Until I order some more proper, regular cases.
