Default Using PC as a Wireless Bridge?

My Samsung BD player does not have a Wi-Fi connection. I currently have this player connected to my receiver, and with my PC being just a few feet away, can I use my PC as a wireless bridge to connect through ethernet?

I would love to watch my Netflix and Vudu movies with my surround sound, and since my PC does not have multi-channel output, the BD player is my only option for streaming with 5.1.

Thanks.

If your PC is a laptop, it is quite easy
Why not by a proper ethernet-wifi bridge, they are quite cheap and easy to set up

of course, if your router is close to the bd player, why not use ethernet?

My wifi is downstairs.

I actually got curious and solved this though. Just plugged an ethernet cable into the back of the BD player and into the ethernet on the PC and it worked. Didn't even have to configure anything.
