I'm wondering if someone can help me? My cousin said that Lifetime (here in the USA) made a movie based on singer Michael Jackson after he died. I wanna know if that's true or not (because nothing is showing up online) and if it is true what's the name of it?

There was a documentary on This Is It that was produced by Kenny Ortega. But that is about it. It's the documentary on the rehearsals for This I It concert that Michael was going to do. As far as a biography, the only one that was released in 2004 on video is Man in the Mirror: The Michael Jackson Story.
Sorry, I wish that there were more movies about him. |

Yeah, "Man in the Mirror" was a few years ago, but as a fan, I couldn't even get to the halfway point. It really seemed like a thinly-disguised trash piece, more than anything else.
If you want to see a documentary on MJ, I'd recommend this one, put together by his friend and business partner David Gest. There's tons of interviews in it, from Bobby Taylor and Whitney Houston to Tom Mesereau and Smokey Robinson, just to name a few. ![]() |
