Damn....why no NZ release? I really want The Hunt for Red October, maybe the 2 Harrison Ford ones too.
I don’t have any work trips over the ditch scheduled, so I may have to try ordering from the .au site once my wallet recovers from all the NZ November releases. |

Picked up the 4K of Red October last week.
It looks great for a film of its age and has that lovely 35mm look to it as well but it also a transfer very true to the films source as a dark, soft and grainy film though it is a huge improvement on the regular Blu-Ray. The TrueHD track is the same as the regular Blu-Ray but it sounds a bit more clearer much like the DTS-HD mix on the 4K of Die Hard did as its given more space. |
