Hey everyone I'm just looking for some ideas on how to sell off my entire collection of blus roughly about 500, to make the max profit
I can for these. I have recently transferred all the movies I could to vudu so I can stream them all. Thanks in advance. |

I sell them on Craigslist. Unfortunately, you get a lot of lowballers no matter how low your prices are and it's a slow process, so you'll likely still have quite a few left over after a while. I know someone on this board who sells them to Hastings, but you'd have to have a Hastings first.

I remember when I was selling off my DVD collection someone at work was going to buy some from me and I had already sold a few off the list I posted. He threw a hissy fit and then decided he didn't want the other titles he was going to get. It's not like I was trying to pull a bait and switch. It was comical.

Unless you sell them for cheap, it's going to take time…
Is good to keep them as backups though? Sell the cases and keep the BDs in sleeves or something so it takes less space. You can prob get at least good money out of the cases and kept the BDs themselves. |

I only recommend that you sell particular ones as lots based on genre: 1. Disney blu-rays sold together as lots do well on Ebay. 2. Cartoons (movies/shows) sold together as lots do well on Ebay. 3. Maybe sell all your superhero Blu-rays together as a superhero lot. 4. Maybe sell all your live-action tv series as one TV lot. So besides the Disney blu-rays, there's no way that you will get more or the same amount of money that you paid for your blu-rays. You also dont have any out-of-print blurays (maybe the Never Say Never Again blu?) so all your blu-rays have not increased in value. Last edited by toddly6666; 09-14-2014 at 02:34 AM. |

I was thinking of doing that with my DVDs. Too many of my DVDs are taking up valuable shelf space that can be used for BDs. Since it's hard to sell DVDs now, I was thinking of just ditching the DVD cases and just putting them in a DVD wallet.
