Question Whats up with Panasonic and their advertising?

In most of the home enterainment and gadget magazines they have been advertising their Plasmas and LCDs and even their upscaling DVD players but no mention that they are producing Blu Ray Players. As one of the big players in the BDA am I the only one to think they are not doing enough to advertise the fact that they are supporting Blu Ray.

You're right. It wouldn't cost them so much to just throw a little Blu-ray logo in there somewhere.

Exactly. They take out a full page and double page in some cases and NO mention AT all of Blu Ray. Its incredible. Even Sharp are advertising BD and Sony do it every chance they get.

Yeah, especially with Panasonic being the only CE manufacturer that currently has a profile 1.1 player. You would think that they would want to advertise that.

I'm a big Panasonic supporter but were are there Blu-ray adds? I guess they sell plenty of hardware, but who wouldn't want to sell more!!!

Members of the BDA being incompetent at marketing and advertising the technology? So, what's new?

I can't address their lack of ads in magazines, but they have been running full page Blu-ray ads in the New York Times, at least once a week for almost a month.
