Australia Amazon currency convert or etc

Was looking to maybe get a blu ray from USA as it's a bit more here in oz,several days back you could see what you be paying amazon in oz dollars but now it's not showing this.i like to see before checking out what I would end up paying and due to the rates going up and down and maybe what my bank may charge I like to see what amazon charge.is there an exchange site out there that pretty close to conversation rates at the time,I know xe is normally way off. I can get the same item here but could save a bit by ordering from USA.

In my experience it's cheaper to let your own bank do the currency conversion and turn Amazon's off.

Yeah i've never had a problem with xe, i also didn't know it could be cheaper if you just allow your bank to do the conversion.

knock off about 2c for USD from the XE conversion rate to get an idea of what your bank might charge. Amazon's currency converter is almost always worse except that you get to lock your rate in I guess which is handy for anything that wont ship immediately.

But if you are going to make a lot of overseas purchases, get a GE mastercard. no conversion fees and they use the XE rate.

I am in the US and order from UK all the time. The XE converter has always been a few dollars higher than the Amazon converter, and even then when payment is taken from my bank, it's less than both!

yes the 28 degrees one, if you have one of those, always use that and let it do the conversion.
