Blu-ray Guru

Hi guys,
I've had my Blu-ray player since 2012, it's the Sony BDP-S185 model, and there appears to be a sound balancing issue. I've tried changing the settings on the player aswell as on the TV, trying all combinations and I'm still stumped as to why in some scenes on Films/TV Shows the sound momentarily goes in and then out. It's a little hard to put into words. There was a noticeable instance of this in a scene in 'Bates Motel', also I remember in Captain America 2, mostly when a sound effect or an instrumental piece of music. It's always the exact same scene, and it doesn't do it on my PS3. I was thinking maybe it's because PS3's are more capable BR players? But that's just me and my observations. ![]() The player is also on the latest firmware. I wonder if anyone here who might've experienced a similar issue could help explain why it does this? ![]() Much appreciated. Thanks ![]() |
