I was curious how many folk elect to review unboxings and/or reviews before (or even after) purchasing a particular film.
Where I've found it increasingly worthwhile, is when more than one manufacturer or release agency is providing the same film. Certainly, it's difficult to depend on such, on a brand new premium release as they could go OOP or OOS before you pull the trigger but if you are fence sitting on a release, I've found it extremely worthwhile to see the product "in-hand" before making the jump. I also need to toss a bone to many of our wonderful German friends that provide reviews, as despite the language hurdle, their reviews are usually impeccable. ![]() Last edited by Gorgon; 12-28-2017 at 12:46 AM. |
