Most album's first singles are 2 months prior to release and Katy is playing at the IHeartRadio Music Festival in september, which suggests a August single release.
EDIT: Doctor Luke also confirmed to be releasing new material in august and when asked by a fan if it was Katy's song he said "Maybe " so it's definitely coming soon.
