My only issue with this is that Sony did the first movie, and therefor likely to be a vertical G2 size like most are, whereas Universal did the 2nd movie and their steelbook was horizontal. So this double pack will be a little bit at odds but still, could be interesting. Here comes another double dip

I didn't get the Hellboy 2 steel as i have the Reel Heroes release (and prefer that artwork) however i could gladly trade my Hellboy amray in to get a nice steel of the first movie.

They need to include all the special features from the 3 disc DVD version, and then I can get rid of the DVD. I have the amaray, but even if it is just the one disc release, I will still get it, as it probably will be

At least it's a single disc BD in the first place. So we can't lose a disc unlike Iron Man and all the other recent re-release steels

Actually I did'nt buy Hellboy on blu-ray yet because the cover art on all the releases are very poor. I always preffered the australian edition though because it had a great cover and blew all the other artwork away for me. If the steelbook can come with this cover or something better than Sony may consider a copy already sold.


Though I hope they give a thought about incuding all the bonus from the dvds too. Even if the price get heavier for this I won't mind as Guillermo Del Toro's productions always have really good extras. But there max chance that this may never occur.

I doubt any of the 3 Sony titles are. None of them say Play.com Exclusive. I just wonder if this means the production run on these is going to be bigger since it has to go out to highstreet as well as online retailers.

Or will it stick to 4/5k and end up being a super fast sell out!
