I noticed that your links are all to Best Buy. Personally, I would shy away from BB because of their industry worst 15 day return policy. Wal-mart sells many of the same sets and offer a 90 day return policy. Just my thoughts. Also Target and Costco offer a 90 day return policy (to the best of my knowledge).

Warranty is really for piece of mind... Square trade + amazon and try and avoid taxes would be my advice.

But I've always bought at best buy because I just drag the tv in and if its unfixable they give me a gift card for the amount or equally featured tv.

I'm preparing a longer comment but for now-- I was so glad I had service protection when my Samsung Plasma had problems. I wouldn't have been able to buy any significant replacement. After two repair tries, Squaretrade paid me the price of the set. You should go to SquareTrade.com and see what they offer. A $600 set doesn't cost much to insure, and I think they are far cheaper than Best Buy.

Best Buy does have a very tight trial period. I hadn't fully decided on my Vizio E Series in 15 days. When the time was up and I had to keep it.

Otherwise my purchase and delivery went smoothly. I'm glad Best Buy decided to locally deliver units 40-inches and bigger for free.

I'll expect to get back to this with more details but if I don't--> I would favor Vizio over LG. I've seen reviews that say LG doesn't have proper blacks. Vizio has excellent black levels.

I hope you get feedback from others on this.
