I'm running XBMC on a Windows 8.1 PC for my HTPC. I know there are plugins for XBMC to do this, and the software side seems pretty straight forward, but for the life of me I can't seem to find detailed instructions on how the physical connection to the PC is made.
I want to use a 5 meter roll of WS2801 LEDs (similar to these http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item...d=291137319445 ), i've seen them used but can't seem to find the appropriate documentation on how the physical connection is made to the computer. I'm more than capable of doing all the soldering ect to make the connections, but am clueless as to the physical interface... any input? |
