Note: some titles are spelled differently between the two sites I'll be using for reference (KimchiDVD and YesAsia), so I'll state them both just to be safe. All have English subtitles.

I'm home now and I just wanted to post a picture. I'm a sucker for matching spines. They look so good together. They all have an edition number, the logo, and the bluray logo at the top.

I already have the Martin Scorcese's World Cinema Foundation boxset but really like the design of that individual Handmaiden release. Are there more extras (English subbed) or essays (booklet translated into English) to justify the double-dip?

Also thinking of buying Heavenly Homecoming to Stars, The March of Fools, and The Last Witness. What'd you think of those films? Thanks for posting that picture.

I’d say it’s certainly worthy of a double-dip! Although I don’t have World Cinema Vol 1 to compare, in adddition to the Scorsese intro, this one has two commentaries with English subtitles, one of which is by Park Chan-wook and the other by a Korean film critic, interviews with Korean directors talking about director Kim Ki-young and his influence on them, and two other films by the director. As far as I remember, all the special features are English-friendly, including the booklet.

The March of Fools is probably my favourite film of the ones I’ve seen so far. The history behind its release and censorship is fascinating as well. Yet to see the three latest releases, of which I hear Sopyonje is a masterpiece.

Thanks for making this master list! I've been collecting these since the first one, but I didn't realise there were already 4 new releases from The Last Witness to A Short Love Affair. Quickly headed over to Kimchi and got myself these before I missed out!
