As titled. I'm thinking of getting Planet Earth from Amazon UK (http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000SKNIWE/), and it says it "will not play on US spec 60i Blu-ray players as the Blu-ray discs are authored to UK 50i specs".
I'm wondering if anyone knows whether my SE-Asian (Singapore) PS3 will be able to play it? I checked online and read somewhere that US 60i vs UK 50i is akin to NTSC vs PAL, and Singapore/SE-Asia supposedly is a PAL region so my PS3 should be able to play it, but I just wanted to make sure before buying if possible... Thanks in advance for any help! |
