Can't wait for this. I still have his Unmasked VHS from 1998 and Return of an Icon DVD from 2006.

Sounds like the same blueprint of the Ultimate Warrior. Only, sadly, about 1/3 of Stinger's career will not be on any WWE release due to TNA still not just selling out the library and going buh-bye. As much as I love the Monday Night Wars era, I'd bet that at least a few matches will be recycled from the Nitro, War Games, and upcoming WCW OMG releases. We'll see when a match list is posted.

A storyline I remember as a kid was the Black Scorpion...lol

I honestly don't mind if there are some rehashed matches that have already been released, I just want it on a single set. I would like the matches in their entirety from the Unmasked VHS. Also, does WWE on the rights to the cross promotions with NJPW? I'm not sure if it was an actual super show but I would like his match with Rick Rude from Japan when Rude injured his back on the step. That part itself makes me cringe but I thought it was a great match and the fact that Rude finished it.

I think WWE might own the rights to the WCW/NJPW super shows. Here's a screen cap of that match with the WWE logo. Perhaps they played it on WWE Classics on Demand at some point.

Yeah, they aired the WCW/NJPW supershows on Classics on Demand. Surprised these are not on the Network.

That's really cool. Maybe they could do a whole disc of WCW/NJPW stuff. I wish somebody could put some NJPW stuff on disc, because the stuff I've seen on Youtube is impressive and are things that I've never seen before.

Yeah well, the $10,000 "Legends" contract they offered him is a huge slap in the face. I understand that Sting is way past his prime, but he is also the most well-known and accomplished pro-wrestler to have never worked for Vince McMahon. Appearing on WWE television and having just one match in a WWE ring would still be a huge deal. They need to at least make a serious offer.

Speculation is that he will be announced as part of the WWE 2K15 video game.

It's most likely regarding the WWE 2015 game. .... He'd never tease an appearance on Raw. Jericho was hidden and played dumb till he re debuted...

Agreed. He was making $500,000 a year in TNA according to dirtsheet lore.

It was basically WCW's Higher Power angle. Good story with bad payoff. It was supposed to be Ole Anderson before he got injured so we got Flair again. UGH!

The Black Scorpion concept was good, but the story was dead in the water looooong before Ric Flair became a factor. As far as I'm concerned, the angle was pretty much beyond repair the moment the "Black Scorpion" lost... by pinfall... following a transition move (Stinger Splash) in his debut match only to reveal that the "Black Scorpion" in the match was actually an impostor and that the REAL Black Scorpion was an "amazing" magician.
