VISUAL DATA MEDIA SERVICES-BURBANK is working on the restoration with the film’s original Director of Photography, Thomas Callaway. Using a pristine 35mm negative, they are creating a complete 4K HDR restoration with augmented sound.

Verdugo Entertainment will be distributing ACTION U.S.A. in all territories.
ACTION U.S.A.is a fast-paced thriller about a girl on the lam with missing cache of diamonds and the gangsters, hit men and renegade FBI agents racing to catch her. The film lives up to its name, featuring spectacular, edge-of-your-seat stunt work, with cars, motorcycles, helicopters and stunt players, some on fire, flying through the air off bridges, jumping over cars and buses, speeding through streets and parking garages and crashing into exploding buildings.

GREGORY SCOTT CUMMINS (Bosch, Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia) heads a cast that includes grind show movie legends CAMERON MITCHELL, WILLIAM SMITH and ROSS HAGEN. It was briefly released in 1989 at the tail end of the straight-to-video boom, but hasn’t been seen since.
