Wink

Was wondering when this would get a thread

Held off on it in hopes you'd do it; was hoping one of the perpetual "OP creator/never an updater" types wouldn't get it done

The Taken 3 steel book along with Exodus and Birdman all HMV exclusives, although the birdman doesn't look very steelbook but the tweet says it is,

and in answer to Mavrick Taken 3 is bloody awful, I'll be surprised if there's anything worse this year to be honest

In answer to Mavrick i really enjoyed Taken 3 and thought it was far better than the lacklustre second movie. There will be far worse movies released this year.

I didn't hate it, but it's not good. I was planning on picking up a used copy at CEX a few months down the line to complete the collection, but this SteelBook may have swayed me.

How strange. I thought this was tedious and forgettable.

The Telegraph said - Now it’s just Liam Neeson hitting people. What a tragedy that’s become boring.

Variety said - The third and presumably final installment of the Liam Neeson action franchise is a mind-numbing, crash-bang misfire.

I'm in full agreement.

And IMHO Xander Berkeley would have made for a much more interesting 'husband gone bad' than Douglas Scott as Stuart.

I've yet to watch the movie, and I haven't heard many great things about it, but I'll pick this up since I own the other two steels.

Since I was not into steelbook collecting when the first two came out and since they are too expensive at the moment I will probably pass on this and get the slipped version when it comes out to go with the first 2.

Agreed. I feel the same way about Blufans and TF4. Do you want to buy a copy from me?

Nope. It was total garbage. Predictable and certainly the poor relation. The tagline was 'It Ends Here', but without any direct spoilers (for those that haven't seen it) there's a 4th there if they want it.
