Differences between Canadian/US release (Hobbit)

So, I ordered the Hobbit Extended Trilogy off of Ebay and it looks like I got a Canadian release.

On the outer box there is no French writing, and on the discs themselves, there is also no French writing. However, on the cases that hold the individual writing there is French writing.

Are the discs produced exactly the same as the ones produced for the United States? I'm just wondering if I'm missing something or if there are major differences somewhere that I might not see yet.
