It would be an impressive hack but no one has figured out how to do this yet. Some have speculated on it but it doesn't look like this is ever going to happen.

If someone figures this out, I'd pay you $10 for one.

My question is if the 360 has to have an HD-DVD add-on, why can't they just make a Blu-ray add-on and bring the format war closer to an end?! Well i suppose after BD wins, they will have to do something like this anyways.

MS execs have already hinted at the idea of a Blu-ray add-on in past interviews.

But since hardware prices have dropped so much by the time this war is over, will it be worth it making an add-on when you could probably pick up a better standalone for the same price or a few bucks more.

Who needs the add-on? Why can't someone just make a safe update for the PS3 that'll make it read HD-DVDs.

I dont know and if it did I would not connect it to my PS3 because they would not get alone.
