All the King's Men won Best Picture, Best Actor, and Best Supporting Actress. A Letter to Three Wives won Best Director and Best Screenplay. The Heiress won Best Actress, Best Dramatic or Comedy Score, Best Art Direction Black And White and Best Costume Design Black and White. Battleground won Best Story and Screenplay and Best Cinematography Black and White. Twelve O'Clock High won Best Supporting Actor and Best Sound Recording.
