Great film, looks like Severin will be doing several of the Ozploitation titles that Synapse/Elite released on DVD. That's a pretty rudimentary cover design though.

Great. Maybe we'll get Strange Invaders, too. Dead Kids is supposed to take place in Galesburg, IL - not far from where I grew up. It was obviously filmed in New Zealand, though some of the countryside looks strangely like Illinois. Strange Behavior (Dead Kids) is lighter fare than some of the other Ginnane productions from that era (Patrick, Thirst). Worth a watch if you're a fan of Strange Invaders or films like Night of the Creeps.

Now I notice that we're getting Thirst (https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Thirst-Blu-ray/89298/) and Patrick (https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Patrick-Blu-ray/83992/) soon, too. Anyone notice any other Aussie titles coming out from Severin?

These were all soft announced months ago though.

What is the anticipated release-day price? I have never seen any of the three films Severin will be releasing that on March 11 but I have been very interested in them for a while and definitely want to support Severin. However, $90 for all of them is steep.

The lowest price so far that I see is $19.79 at blowitoutahere.

I just ordered this as well as Patrick and Thirst from Family Video. I got an email saying they were all back-ordered. How can that be possible if they aren't even officially released yet?

Anyone else ever have this happen with Family Video? Usually they are incredibly reliable.

Just found out about this movie, had never heard of it before. The trailer looked pretty good to me, but the review of both the movie and pq has me questioning if I should buy it. Especially at that price range. Decisions, decisions....

Just noticed that the Australian version runs 14 minutes longer?

Is this a different cut than severin's? Is the pq/transfer the same?

I saw this way back in the day under the title STRANGE BEHAVIOR. It's an odd film but a good one for sure. I found it to be interesting and involving.

The PQ looked perfectly fine to me.... I noticed the difference in color mentioned in the review here but it didn't bother me at all

Thanks for the info. What about the 101 run time of the Australian release? If there's an uncut/director's cut, I'd rather get that one.

can't really comment on that.... this version (even with the title change) is the same one that I've seen my whole life and the only one I know...
