I was thinking of Philips bdp9700. Anyone have experience with this player?
I currently own the oppo bdp103d, but i have had so much trouble with it. Mainly freezes when playing back from dlna. Also alot of freezes and crashes playing regular blu-ray discs. EDIT: I ordered the philips BDP9700, all I can say is it's probably the worst player I used so far. I had no picture and no sound when I hooked it up to my TV. Tried diffrent HDMI cables to no avail. I finally tried it on another tv, changed the resolution to 1080p but it won't support 4K. There is no hdmi handshake. In addition to this it is slow and noisy. This one is going back for a refund. Now I honestly don't know what player to get. I was thinking of a Sony or Samsung player. Suggestions? Thanks. Last edited by karbon; 11-26-2014 at 05:16 PM. |
