I was trying to play it today. The TCFHE logo played with no problem. The menu had the sound that i remembered from my dvd, bassy, bassy, bassy. Chose english dts-ma. Now I remember that the UA logo had some serious bass it, as well as the movie. However when the movie started, no bass, no surround and the volume was way, way lower than the sound on the menu. Now here's the funny part, I've played it before the my same equipment and this is the first time that this is happening.
Granted my stuff is old (Denon 1804 receiver, Panny BD55 connected to each other using the analog 5.1 cable; Denon has 5.1 external input, not 7.1) but all of my other movies plays fine. Did something weird happen with my receiver, my player or the movie itself? Any ideas? Not for nothing, I has planned on treating myself to a new player and receiver with dolby true hd and dts ma decoding, but I read Atmos was coming out so I decided to wait. |
