Star Fox Zero confirmed to be playable with a traditional controller...?

Saw the newsletter that Nintendo of Europe sends weekly and on the official website, down below they list several controllers for Star Fox Zero's. I really hope this is true because the older Star Fox required a standard controller too so Ninty needs to get this gimmicky-trend under control already.

• Wii U Pro Controller
• Wiimote + Nunchuk
• Wiimote

I had assumed if playing one player you had to use the Gamepad. If playing two player one uses the Gamepad and one any other controller. I believe there's no getting way from the Gamepad.

Maybe they simply added a rail shooter mode for the Wiimote?

Or just 2nd player controls (1 player actually does the flying, other player does the shooting)

Star Fox Zero was fully designed to use the gamepad as controller. Otherwise they could have made the graphics prettier, because they would have to only get 60 frames per second instead of 120. Maybe play the game first before calling it gimmicky.

Nintendo made some dumb decisions back during Wii. For example forcing shake controls onto Donkey Kong Country Returns. The game plays way better on 3DS. On Wii U they haven't made such decisions. Best way to for example play Pikmin 3 is Wiimote + Gamepad, there is no way around it. Best way to play Splatoon is w/ motion controls. Captain Toad plays perfectly fine using gamepad + motion controls.

They would never have had 120fps because it's a Nintendo/console game, and who're you trying to kid, this'll probably be very much like Captain Toad and Sonic Lost World's usability of the GamePad. Unnecessary but forced.

The camera moving itself is a flaw that could have been avoided but again, Ninty had to shove in the GamePad somehow.
