Probably American Sniper, but Wedding Ringer on top wouldn't be a surprise.

Kinda hoping Padington garners a small audience, apparently the films superb.

Yea, I've heard it is great. Definitely won't do well here though as the character isn't very well known here in the States.

AMERICAN SNIPER - 47.03 MILLION (3-Day)/55.33 MILLION (4-Day)
THE WEDDING RINGER - 31.698 MILLION (3-Day)/37.127 MILLION (4-Day)
PADDINGTON - 21.74 MILLION (3-Day)/29.46 MILLION (4-Day)
BLACKHAT - 7.853 MILLION (3-Day)/8.983 MILLION (4-Day)

Competition will be WAY too fierce for Blackhat to do well. American Sniper and Taken 3 will be popular with the action crowd. Might benefit from sell-outs but not so much that it will do that well.

I think it will actually. Even if the character isn't well-known here it seems cute and reviews are great. Plus there hasn't been a new family movie in a while. Since Night at the Museum anyway. It's time for something new. And it's a holiday weekend. Long weekend for kids.

Really been wanting to see Paddington. Don't know if it's because it's from the makers of Harry Potter or what, but that trailer has convinced me to see it for the last month or so.

My first priority is American Sniper, but Paddington is an easy second over Blackhat.

I should want to see Blackhat as I love me some Michael Mann... but if I didn't know he was directing it I'd have little interest...

I also need to see Inherent Vice... but might see American Sniper before both.

There's no way Wedding Ringer isn't number one this weekend!

A 'black' movie AND Kevin Hart always win this MLK weekend! Sure the better movie American Sniper SHOULD win but we all know that's not often the case.

I hope to be wrong but i really think Hart takes it.

The only one I kind of want to see is black hat, but I doubt I will see any of these in theaters.

The buzz on American Sniper is way too strong. It's going to be huge. If the competition were weaker then Wedding Ringer would definitely have no problem taking the top spot.

Is there an audience left for Wedding Ringer? Sony's been screening that sucker seemingly every week for months. I saw the thing back in October and could've watched it another 5 or 6 times with the amount of passes they've e-mailed me.

1. AMERICAN SNIPER - 60.71 MILLION (3-Day)/71.81 MILLION (4-Day)
2. THE WEDDING RINGER - 22.698 MILLION (3-Day)/26.08 MILLION (4-Day)
3. PADDINGTON - 21.74 MILLION (3-Day)/29.46 MILLION (4-Day)
4. TAKEN 3 - 19.6 MILLION (3-Day)/23.52 MILLION (4-Day)
5. SELMA - 14.395 MILLION (3-Day)/17.4 MILLION (4-Day)
6. THE IMITATION GAME - 9 MILLION (3-Day)/9.7 MILLION (4-Day)
7. BLACKHAT - 7.853 MILLION (3-Day)/8.983 MILLION (4-Day)
8. INTO THE WOODS - 7.166 MILLION (3-Day)/10 MILLION (4-Day)
9. UNBROKEN - 4.9 MILLION (3-Day)/5.7 MILLION (4-Day)
10. NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM 3 - 4.367 MILLION (3-Day)/5.038 MILLION (4-Day)
11. THE HOBBIT: BATTLE OF FIVE ARMIES - 4.36 MILLION (3-Day)/5.344 MILLION (4-Day)
12. ANNIE - 3.325 MILLION (3-Day)/3.94 MILLION (4-Day)

American Sniper is going to be HUGE. Maybe it won't be as big as my prediction, but it will be BIG. I will not be shocked if it breaks out in a huge way.

Selma I'm probably over-predicting but I could see it increasing with it being MLK weekend.

This should definitely be a big weekend.

Yeah, I increased my American Sniper prediction a lot. It's going to be HUGE. Maybe it won't be as big as my prediction, but it will be BIG. I will not be shocked if it breaks out in a huge way.

I hope Paddington does better than that and takes #2. It looks cute and its getting good reviews. I think it used to be well-known here, or at least it was when I was little...I guess probably not anymore. I had a Paddington Bear as a kid...I'm kind of biased.

I'm actually predicting more for Paddington than most. Mine would be a great opening for it. Especially since it should be quite leggy.
