If this pans out then I'll be seeing my first Mission Impossible film theatrically. Still wish we'd get native 3D on this--real 3D complements real stunts--maybe next time?

This is just absolutely terrible pain in the a., *facepalm* knowing that Paramount will roll this out 99% likely only pancake flat on disc, when you see the success and preorder numbers of Disneys Avatar 2 3D Blu-ray disc these days.

Please guys WRITE to Paramount !!!!

Haven't received any info from the studio if there will be 3D for the NA market. We received the latest poster and there is no mention of 3D like the one in South America posted above, I wouldn't be surprised if its another Fast and Furious case and its international markets only. I will keep you guys posted as soon as i find out.

Paramount won't move a finger to release any 3D movies on blu-ray 3D. They stated this long time ago.

Unfortunately it's 100% guaranteed that Paramount won't release the film on 3D Blu-ray.

Looking at local showtimes, there's literally zero 3D showings advertised

Unfortunately i´m sure, we don´t get a 3D version of the movie.
The showtimes of this movie of the local IMAX are now live. 2D only. In the past this IMAX EVER show the 3D version, if a 3D version was avaiable.

Thats exactly what i saw today. If this wonderful 5/5 stars deluxe IMAX (3D) cinema (I saw Tomb Raider 3D there) is not playing this in 3D I'm pretty sure no other cinema will do.

Seems to be the (Avatar 2) year of the last minute canceled 3D movies. What a shame right after a 3D stunner rocked the cinemas....

According to this review. I guess the person saw a 2D version. This would have been a perfect fit for 3D...

I really think we should start putting ‘CANCELLED’ in the titles of these movies that are promoted in 3D at one point and then the stereo is quietly killed off. Call out these studios for doing so and also make it easy for people to realise why it isn’t coming if they are looking it up.

All versions will be release here in mainland China are in 2D only, so I doubt if there's 3D version ever made.

So basically, not a single movie opening this month is going to be in 3D?

What is the next movie on the calendar that has been confirmed to be in 3D?

Is there a PANIC button similar to GROOT that I could press down on, I am, still, not quite sure why they will leave money on the table and not try to squeeze every juice (penny) out from us...isn't that the AMERICAN WAY...leave no stone (CASH) unturned, and I really thought since DISNEY is bleeding subscribers they would use the coat tails of AVATAR to introduce 3D within their website and finally release all of that precious 3D library at DISNEY+...I think they need new blood there at DISNEY, they seem to be somewhat behind the times...I am sooooo disappointed, I've never seen so many companies trying to get rid of us...WHY?

my honest, totally uneducated guess is that some of the movies that were supposed to get 3D and ended up not getting a conversion were affected by global market forces. be it the movies taking longer to complete than expected, or maybe the 3D conversion studios are facing staffing issues? to me some combo of that makes sense because it still comes down to $$$
