Fantastic show! But I'm not sure there's a lot of rewatch value. Can't wait to see how they develop Season 2.

The concept of the series was pretty decent but all it took was sitting through the agonizing Episode 1. It was like watching an 8 hour version of a very horrible Nicolas Cage movie. ACK!!! I found "The Unit" much more interesting.

Are you sure you were watching the correct show? This was easily my favorite series of 2011. Probably in my top 10 favorite shows overall, and that's only after a single season!

Yeah, it was definitely better than Dexter 6, Boardwalk Empire 2 and even gave Breaking Bad 4 a run for its money.

It was extremely good.

Only saw 3 episodes but will pick this up. This and Dexter are the only good shows left on Showtime.

Terrific show, very compelling and addictive with each episode. Highly recommended to anyone who hasn't been able to see it. Claire Danes and Damian Lewis have some great characters.

Day 1 for me. Really wanted to catch this when it aired, but never got around too it. Honestly, I'm surprised by all the glowing reviews for this show based on the trailers I saw, but who am I to argue, haha.

Trailers are often misrepresentative of the end product. If you're expecting anything like 24 or many of the other shows that ads for this invoke you're in for a HUGE surprise. It's surprisingly quiet and character driven at times. It's exhilarating too. It's honestly unlike anything else on TV right now.

That's actually great. I'm in the minority when it comes to these boards, but I was never a fan of "24". This sounds more like my kinda show, characters are the forefront, plot not as important.

I must be in a minority of a minority, as I enjoyed both "24" and "Homeland".

The two series couldn't be more dissimilar in their approach. I can understand why "24" won't find a home with some viewers, seeing as some of the scenarios are highly exaggerated or just implausible. If you prefer something with a slower, more methodical pace, "Homeland" should keep you engrossed.

I won't mind rewatching this while I wait for the season premiere of season two.

Don't get me wrong... plot factors heavily into the series... but it's fully engrossing and always seems organic. The characters and their situations fuel the story and it rockets along at breakneck speed -- despite ample time paid to the fully developed cast. It's some of the best storytelling I've seen on TV.

Who says American remakes are always bad? This one is fantastic.

100% agreed. Like others have already stated: there's not much replay value but it is an excellent show.
