I thought this looked cheap and digital in the theater.

^ Not at the theater I saw. All Indian movies specially the big budget ones are technically superb. They might lack in substance though.

They almost always lack the substance. The bigger the budget, the worse the brains behind it.

Can you imagine garbage like Farah Khan given 150 crore budget anywhere else besides Bollywood.

Everyone of her movies have no story, no script no screenplay behind it. Just pure masala factor. I still think it worked in HNY here.
