Buy one with "Spell Check"! JK

The two previous posters look like a preview of this year's upcoming Super Bowl - GO PATS!!!

I have a 57" JVC that came with a stand for $1800. After the PS3, it's the best purchase I ever made. Plus I bought it at a Navy Exchange and didn't have to pay tax on it WOOOOHOOOO!

All depends on your budget. Any of the major brand names will make you happy if you need to spend less. I'm very happy with my 26" Visio which was a gift. Not everything I want, but hey, it was free! In my opinion, no one beats Sony Bravia LCD's right now.

I can hardly wait for the OLED kind. They will be smoking hot!

I would think the Sony XBR would be in that price range too. Normally you can talk the sales-people to go down quite a bit lower than the listed price. The Samsung LED TV's are not cheap... searching on HL-T618TS doesn't give me anything.

I'd go with the Sony A3000...that is one beautiful set...

it has the motionflow 120hz...absolutely stunning...you won't believe how good football games look with that turned on.

Sony's customer service runs circles around Samsung...I have heard horror stories about dealing with Samsung.

Reliability...the SXRD chip is by far hands down better than Sammy's led chip...REMEMBER!! This is Sammy's second season with LED...they bombed with the DLP ons..anyone remember 'wobbulation'?

Trust me..the Sony will treat you better in the long run.

I agree, sony makes awesome tv's. i own the sony 60" sxrd xbr1 and i love it. i really dont want to sell it, but i am looking to upgrade to a true 1080p set. i actually have it for sale in my area in the local listings, so hopefully i can sell it soon and upgrade to either panny plasma or the sony A3000. not sure yet.
