Signal One Entertainment was supposed to release this one on October 29th but considering it's already October 13th and there haven't been any updates in regards to this release since it's first been announced, my question is: is this still happening this month? Or this year? Does anyone have any information?

Yep
Signal One themselves said that its been delayed until next year and other titles have replaced it in the schedule. They did reassure those of us wanting Nightmare Alley and The Gunfighter that we're definitely getting them and they are just delayed. ![]() |

thanks for the fast replies, guys. Well, guess I'll have to wait a little longer then! It's not like there aren't enough other movies to buy untill then!

Still, I can't wait to finally get Nightmare Alley. I missed out on the MoC DVD and they never upgraded it. I'm looking forward to The Gunfighter even more - supposedly they interviewed Alex Cox for that disc (on my recommendation, in fact). |

And speaking of first-rate Fox westerns starring Gregory Peck, Twilight Time in the US has just released The Bravados, directed by Henry King and lensed by the great Leon Shamroy. Wouldn't it be nice if at least this TT release didn't just vanish into the OOP night like the dozens-upon-dozens of other Fox titles they've released and which it appears that no-one outside the US has ever even attempted to licence?

If it wasn't a venerable classic when it was first announced for release, it sure as hell will be by the time it arrives......
