50th anniversary? Of the assassination yes, but movie no! Isn't that kind of misleading?

Just noticed it includes PT 109 on DVD! Really wish that had been BD!

Haha just noticed that...and not that pleased as well. 50th anniversary insinuates that the film is 50 years old.

That is kind of a bizarre way to get an 'anniversary' title on a release, but I like what I see of this set.
I'm probably in the minority, but I really liked this film. So this will look nice with my digibook and UK steelbook preorder.

I like the film as well but I think I will stick with my Digibook version. No need to double dip for me.

I'm on the Edge with this one. I have the Digibook, but if I can get this for round $20 I might consider a double dip.

Not trying to get this big sets anymore but I really like those extras.

At the time of the assasination my mum was about 14 years old or something and sent a letter to Jackie saying how sorry she was. She actually got a response.

She got sent a thank you letter from The White House and a copy of the service. I've seen it a few times. Bearing in mind we are from London it was quite a nice thing to get.

Would it kill them to release the far-superior theatrical cut on Blu-ray? It's available digitally, which is cool, but it hasn't been available on disc since LASERDISC.

This looks really cool, except for the size. It's nice to see all the disc extras though, I'll be keeping an eye on price tracker for this!

I will probably get this set since I don't have the digibook version. Plus, I'm a sucker for all that extra junk

Haha! Some of the junk that WB puts in their Collector's Edition sets are very interesting. I have the Wizard Of Oz, A Christmas Story and Christmas Vacation CE. I never did get a chance to get GWTW From the JKF pic, it does look like a really nice set

Ah forgot about those. Since they go for relatively cheap (compared to WOO and GWTW), i can get them anytime. I think the Dean Martin set is from WB also which goes for $70~

Setting aside whether or not people think this is a good movie...do people really buy JFK over and over again? This is a movie that Warner has revisited constantly ever since the VHS days.

I don't have JFK in my collection so it doesn't really matter to me on how many times WB released this film.
