Default Terminator 2

I want to get Terminator 2 on Blu Ray but just can't justify it. The Extreme DVD release of it was awsome it had 3 editions of the movie.

DVD
1. The Theatrical Edition
2. The Extended Edition
3. The Special Extended Edition all with DTS

Blu Ray

1. The Theatrical Edition
2. DTS 5.1 ES at 1.5 MBPS

Excuse me how did we go from 3 editions with DTS to 1 edition with DTS.

This will be a definate pick up for me once the have all 3 edtions with uncompressed PCM or DTS MA hopefully the former.

I want this movie as soon as possible on Blu Ray.

I totally agree with you. I think LGF is coming out with a new T2 in January.

I agree, I passed on T2 because there will be a better edition down the road with the extended cut.

I am sure when T4 is released of Blu there will be a Quadrilogy pack, with all the trimmings. So waiting on that.

I don't see that happening, since the movies are from different studios.

This was the first movie I got on Blu, and as I was watching it, I thought to myself, Blu-Ray sucks. It doesn't look much better than the DVD.

I have never seen a Blu-ray that "barely" looks better than it's dvd counterpart. Even House of Flying Daggers was a nice improvement.. even though it was poor for BD. Then again.. I have not seen T2 on BD yet.

I was going to get this until I heard about the PQ and AQ. Not worth the upgrade because I have the extreme edition already.

Even at $10, I passed and will continue to do so until a Blu-worthy edition is released.

I'd rather buy The Devil Wears Prada over the current Blu versions of T1 and T2. Oh wait, I did.

I own it too. I think the PQ is more than acceptable. The sound is mind blowing......

I got it in a trade, haven't watched it yet... hopefully the double-dip will be a while since I just got this recently.

Bought the first BD T2, hopefully they re-release it with a remaster and better encode on BD50 with PCM! The one I have has grain problems in darker areas, but other than that it's good PQ. The sound deserves PCM though.
