Umm, why is this movie not on Blu-Ray yet? Such an amazing story and it will likely be a visually stunning film if ever released on Blu.

I've been wondering this as well and Eaters of the Dead is such a wonderful novel.

Actually it is already out on Blu-ray, just in the US. It's been released in Germany for quite a few months now. I love this movie as well, but I've been a little hesitant importing it due to high shipping prices from Germany. Otherwise, I've heard it's quite good in quality, and it's region free to boot.

Disney is being slow this year. Again.

So far they've released a total of 7 catalog blu-ray's in 2010 (8 months in). 10 Things I Hate About You, Gangs of New York (re-release), Toy Story, Toy Story 2, Tombstone, Armageddon, and James and the Giant Peach.

My guess is, that chances are low for every catalog film from Disney to be released on BD.

Be advised that the German Blu-ray has forced German subtitles, You have to choose between having the audio in German, or the audio in English with forced German subtitles. You might want to wait for another release.

yeah we have the german version and we concur regarding the subtitles.... the PQ & AQ are very good and feel that it can be remastered even better here for a US version.

The final battle sequence shook the foundation when we watched it lol..

We will see hopefully sometime soon!!!
